Manufacturing Assembly 1st Shift
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to add buildup to steel rule cutting dies according to customer job specifications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Adhere all types of ejection material to die board
- Select proper grade of corrugated stock for samples
- Operate Rubba cutter, CMS, Plotter and Sample Press
- Read and understand customer machine specifications
- Identify nonconforming material during inspection activities
- Documenting time on job card and CyFrame ERP system
- Comply with safety and employment policies of the company
- Report near-miss accidents and unsafe behaviors by co-workers
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- Ability to read a tape measure
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Ability to stand throughout the entire shift
- Must know how to read specs
- Must be able to hear to listen to instructions
- Frequently lifting/moving die boards from one area of production to another
- Ability to lift 65 pounds
Environmental and Physical Working Conditions:
- Constant noise
- High Dust Levels
General Comments: This is a fast-paced environment. Employees must be able to work under pressure and time constraints to meet customer deadlines.
